This past week, Liberty Studios became a song writing factory for the upcoming talent of hip-hop recording artist Astro, "The Astronomical Kid". Making use of every room in our facility, Astro and his team were hard at working crafting and recording songs for the young artist's upcoming debut album. Astro first made headlines on the reality TV show X-Factor, making it to the final 7 contestants. Although he did not win the competition, he was quickly signed by L.A. Reid to Epic Records and has not let losing deter him in the slightest.
In addition to raw talent, Astro also had the support of several big name producers with him in the studio. Grammy award winning producers Boi1da and Tricky Stewart, Grammy nominated T-minus as well as Soundz and Milla were all here providing tracks for Astro to write and record to as well as helping out with the hooks.
With a dedicated work ethic and talent beyond his years, Astro is poised to be one of the biggest artists of 2012.
