Liberty Studios provides musicians, producers, filmmakers and editors with the resources for all their audio and visual production needs. Nestled in the heart of trendy Liberty Village in downtown Toronto, Liberty Studios is a luxury oasis spanning 6,000 sq. ft. A state of the art multi-media facility, the studio is the perfect blend of design and functionality.
This unique and premium facility offers clients a wide range of services including production, budget planning, contract personnel, composition and arrangements, recording and mixing tools, sound design, video / audio editing, video capture and live and interactive presentations. The one of a kind studio space is able to facilitate recording a small orchestra in addition to having total session recall. Clients are also able to house multiple projects simultaneously under one roof as a one stop production hub.
Each of the rooms are luxuriously spacious and bright, and are also within sight lines of one another allowing clients to communicate in freely. Spanning 6,000 square feet, with floating floors and ceiling, detached soffets, custom designed solid core sepili doors (African mahogany) and custom designed windows, the space functions for optimum surround sound recording and mixing. It houses Digidesign’s professional recording products which include a HD7 Protools recording system controlled by a state of the art large-format D-Control ES Icon console and a HD2 Protools system for stem tv / film mixing.
The Liberty Ballroom is the main soundstage / live room. The ballroom is an 11-sided non-parallel polygon room, which covers 1,600 square feet with 17.6-foot ceilings and houses 3 isolated booths for sound control, with one of them being a large drum room. All the isolation booths have floating floors made of solid bamboo. Also included in The Liberty Ballroom are a projector, automated 16:9 projector screen and a 5.1 surround playback system.
